I Scream, You Scream – We all scream for ICE SCREAM!! Westwood Kids is celebrating National Ice Cream Day AND the wrap up of the Scripture Scoops summer Bible reading program with SUNDAE SUNDAY! This family event will include ice cream themed games, crafts, and of course: ICE CREAM SUNDAES! Most importantly, let’s see what ice cream can teach us about the need for Jesus in our lives! Register your kiddos now!

In partnership with Arrive Ministries, Westwood Kids is gathering supplies for backpacks – please drop off backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, markers, crayons, glue sticks and scissors in the Kids Lobby. On Sunday August 16, Westwood Kids families are invited to our Packing Party to get the backpacks ready for Arrive Ministries!

The donation bin will be available starting on July 19. Packing Party will be on August 16, 4 – 5:30 PM

New Mid-Week Program

Westwood Kids Wednesday is all about connecting! Throughout the night, Westwood Kids will connect with each other, with small group leaders and with God as they take the next step in their faith journey. All elementary kids are welcome to a night filled with games, crafts, Bible and more! Childcare for infants – Kindergarten is provided for any parents/guardians that are serving or taking classes. Supporting the mission of the broader church in every sense, Westwood Kids partners with families to raise up the next generation of UNLIKELY PEOPLE PURSUING UNCOMMON GOOD.  

These four spiritual principles give Westwood Kids a strategy to help kids grow spiritually:  

SPEND TIME WITH GOD 

Kids grow in their relationship with God through personal times of prayer, reading Scripture, reflection and worship 

SPEND TIME WITH OTHERS 

Kids need to be engaged in healthy community and godly relationships with others – people who share our beliefs, as well as with people who don’t. 

USE YOUR GIFTS 

Kids need to understand how God uniquely made them and then use those unique qualities to love god, love others, and impact the world around them. 

SHARE YOUR STORY 

Kids need to make faith a regular, everyday, go-to- topic of conversation as they learn to connect their stories with God’s story and then share their story with others. 

As our kids develop these four spiritual principles in their lives, they will begin to see themselves as UNLIKELY PEOPLE PURSUING UNCOMMON GOOD – growing in a deeper relationship with God, engaging in healthy community with others, serving their church and community with their God-given unique gifts, and sharing their story with the world.

Infants – Grade 5
Sunday Mornings | 9 & 10:30 am

Elementary (Grades 1-5) classes meet on the second floor in the Blue Room.
Preschool (Infants – Kindergarten) classes meet on the first floor near the Kids Lobby (by Door 4).
