The most beloved story of Christmas becomes an animated Bible story that follows the story of Christmas that’s based on the account in the book of Luke.

Watch this Christmas video together. Included are animated Bible stories, teachings, and explanations of the Bible story. Discuss the Talk It Over Questions. Questions will include conversations about the Bible story to allow you and your children to reflect on the biblical truth and share your thoughts about the video with each other.

Family Activity: God With Us
Purpose:
Through engaging in this activity, the family will make memorable connections about
their Savior as Emmanuel. Understanding that our mighty God is so near and with us is
a powerful truth to know as a family this season. In this activity, the family will have the
opportunity to spend time together discussing and engaging with God’s truths.
Activity: Gather Near
Needed:
- Family members
- Hot Cocoa
- Board Game
Instructions:
In this activity, the family will enjoy a moment of being near to each other with
discussion over hot cocoa followed by a board game.
- Gather together as a family to make some hot chocolate! Have everyone get
involved. - Gather around the dining table, or in the living room with everyone on the same
level (all in chairs, all on the floor). - Discuss these questions together, giving time to think and talk about the answers
given:
a. Jesus’ name, Emmanuel, means God with us. How is God with us?
b. Why does God choose to be near to us?
c. Can anything separate us from God and his love when we are His sons
and daughters and have received His grace and salvation? - Pull out a favorite board game and enjoy being near and together today! Have
